COME – TASTE – BUY.

I just concluded a coaching session with an Entrepreneur and I broke down a timeless business tactic that many people misunderstand. The official name of this tactic is FREEMIUM; but the unofficial name is what I call “COME-TASTE-BUY”.

This is a strategy I have deployed unfailingly since 2009 when I began my entrepreneurial attempts. It has ALWAYS delivered the goods.

As a Business owner, never arrogate to yourself the belief that:

1. EVERYBODY KNOWS ME (MY BRAND).
2. EVERYBODY WILL PAY ME.

and

3. I DON’T NEED TO MARKET HARD.

E go shock you…

So you must constantly endeavour to oil the wheel of visibility, marketing and customer satisfaction so that your business keeps its mainstream customers and increases its mainstream revenue.

To do this, see below 👇 the VERY SHORT PROCESS of ‘Come-Taste-Buy’:

1. Give a FREE OFFER at least once bi-weekly or worse case, once a month: this can be a live class, a virtual session (Zoom, IG, Facebook, etc.), an eBook, a free chapter in your next book, a free coaching time, etc. ALWAYS THINK OF GIVING. A giving business never lacks.
2. Collect CUSTOMER DATA devotedly. The only VIABLE ROI (what is ROI?) that this tactic requires is the details of anyone who is enjoying the free gift. You just engineer a means to take note of those taking from you because “the clouds will gather and the rain will pour.”
3. Upsell a PAID OPPORTUNITY. With the data you’ve got, you can mine and assess needs, wants and lifestyles. You can measure patterns and feedback. Then you use these imprints to SELL VALUE THAT WILL BE PAID FOR. Last Sunday, SOBCA’s MHBUFFET hosted over 100 people for free on Zoom. We upsold MHFA Level 1 holding March 2022.. and we have received 5% conversion at N130,000.00 per person. So you see? We probably spent a little above 10K (data costs and notifications costs) and made (130K x 5 = 650K). If you don’t gerrit, forgerrit!!! 😁
4. Repeat 1 to 3 again… forever!!!
