Let’s talk about VALUE CHAIN.

I am a trainer, primarily. My company, SOBCA, is primarily a training company especially in the industry of Behaviour Modification. Every trainer or training company can do ANY or SOME or ALL of the following, depending on their resources, competencies and capabilities (stamina):

1. Develop content
2. Train (undertake the sessions)
3. Stationery for training (source materials, produce and print)
4. Catering (source refreshments and serve food)
5. Non-curricular activities (sports, games, fun stuff)
6. Lobbying (source, engage and procure trainings)
7. Wardrobe function (source, provide and advise on clothing)
8. Pool of Trainers (gather, organize and refer trainers) … like OSP.

Etc.

As a trainer, I can serve COMPANIES THAT WANT TO TRAIN THEIR STAFF, or I can serve TRAINERS/TRAINING COMPANIES LIKE ME/MINE. While doing either of these, I can make money doing any of the 8 options above and I can be KNOWN for that alone and become AN AUTHORITY in that.

This is the same for every other professional, no matter your sector. There is a LIST of areas you can leverage and serve a market. DO YOU KNOW YOUR LIST???

Many people are NOT making money and they need to start understanding THE VALUE CHAIN OF THEIR INDUSTRY.

You don’t have to ‘force’ a niche on yourself. See, business is all about providing real life solutions therefore if you can do that within your sector, across a value chain, YOU WILL FLOURISH.
