HOW TO GUARANTEE LONGEVITY OF YOUR BUSINESS.

SOBCA is my first and number one priority. I have said this innumerable times. When I have to invest resources, SOBCA comes topmost. Hence the reason why I make it most visible while making a lot of money from every other source.

This morning, I inspected the work being done on our new 40-seater training room and the financials were starring me in the face. I smiled. I remember where all these started from. I remember December 2003 when I conceived of the name ‘Barnabas House’. I remember January 2011 when I registered Barnabas House at the CAC to signify readiness to do business. I remember March 28th 2011 when I tendered my resignation at ValuCard to become a self employed fellow. I remember July 1st 2011 when my resignation took effect. I remember November 2011 when I visited Abuja and decided to stay back. I remember August 2016 when SOBCA was registered to replace Barnabas House. I remember all the kind people who have worked with me and some unkind ones whom the enemy tried to use to destroy me.

From an abstract idea to a one-man hustle to a man with staff and companies to a man EXPANDING because the seams are bursting open. I am a man God has helped.

If you can read this, please let me encourage you:

1.) Just start with what you have the way you know how to. It will always not be so clear but it will be clear as you grow. Just evolve with your vision.

2.) Put your money where your vision is. It is okay to launder money on luxuries but it is more important to splash money inside your business. Buy assets, build systems, pay your staff well, take care of your people. Focus on your business very well. This expansion (and restructuring) alone is costing us around 5 Million Naira, which I am very glad to invest. I could choose to keep our business running as-is while I travel and lounge away a surplus of 5M; but no! Let SOBCA spend 5M to make 500M within 1 year. maktub!!!

3.) Remember the journey. Remember everyone who helped. Remember everyone who tried to destroy. Remember every single detail and while doing so, raise an offering of thanksgiving to God because He Who has started it will ensure to bring it to completion
