I MISSED MY PERIOD.

Okay, so I know I am about to generalize; yea? But personally, I feel that every adult male has heard the statement (or something like it) “Babe, we need to talk” …. that later ends in “I missed my period”. 😱 😱 😱 😟 😟 😟 😦 😦 😦

Omo mehn!!! Virtually every guy that has heard those lines has been in tatters for a few seconds, minutes or days. As in! There will be so much ‘ojuelegba noise’ inside your head for a while before you get your acts together. No be small thing (it’s not a small challenge).

Month after month, there are ROUTINES we all go through in life. Men have haircuts, manicures, pedicures, change of soaps, etc. Ladies have menstrual cycles, salon trips, spa trips, and various cosmetic routines. Without these routines, we are STALE and REPUGNANT.

The operative word today is: ROUTINE!!!

Routine is WHY a Business will grow, make money and multiply the money. Routine!!!

If you operate a business and there is no routine, then you are just joking. You see, what brands franchise is routine. They set in motion a pack of activities that guarantee a particular kind of outcomes then test those activities. When they can attest to the efficiency of those activities, they install them as routines. Then these same activities can be undertaken anywhere in the world to get the same results, with minimal deviation.

ROUTINES!!!

In Business Model Canvas, we call these KEY ACTIVITIES: the tasks that must be done HOURLY, DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, HALF YEAR and ANNUALLY.

So let me ask you:

1. What is your Customer Acquisition routine?
2. What is your Customer Retention routine?
3. What is your Sales routine?
4. What is your Marketing routine?
5. What is your Product & Service Development routine?
6. What is your Communication routine?
7. What other routines would you need within your peculiar business to achieve your corporate goals?

Take this week to write them down and bind them into a document. You’d have saved yourself THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS with which you’d have hired a consultant. Thank me later.
