INSULATE YOUR BUSINESS NOW

As a business owner, if there was a time when your business needed to last long, make as much revenue as possible, and become more fulfilling, it is now than ever.

The reason why I say this is because, one of the way to protect your mental health from the growing economic and emotional strains across the world today is by putting your energies and passions into something you sincerely love a lot. THIS IS WHEN YOUR PASSION FOR SOMETHING YOU LOVE SHOULD PROTECT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.

So this morning, I imagined what it will take to grow your business properly so as to secure your mental health. Some thoughts include:

1. Make your Staff ‘family’. Fact is, we spend more time with our staff even without knowing it. So when you look at the cumulative time spent, it sums up to be much more than time spent with spouses and children, in the long run. When you ‘accommodate’ your staff, you become functionally well. And this makes business thrive significantly.
2. Teach them the values you prefer. Not many staff are properly raised. Many staff of businesses are crooked, dysfunctional and badly behaved. If you can, identify and intentionally TEACH all staff to UNDERSTAND and OPERATE the value systems that work for you in the work place. This makes work flow better and the cohesion translates to more revenue.
3. Not every staff will really cooperate. Let us be realistic. Some staff will see you as an opportunist. Some will see their job as a meal ticket. Some will always complain about not being well paid, even if you buy them a house. Some will simply never reciprocate all your kind gestures. Some people are wired so badly that they never show gratitude for any kindness from their employers. If you cannot stand these flaws, please REMOVE them from your business but if you can tolerate them, it’s okay to keep them and keep correcting them. Hopefully, with time, they may improve. But remember that ANY STAFF WHO IS UNGRATEFUL AND ALSO MANIPULATIVE CANNOT BE KEPT BECAUSE THEY BECOME RING LEADERS OF A MOVEMENT TO BRING YOU DOWN. Be warned!!!

If your staff are happy in your business, your business has the potential to last very long and then you can make a lot of revenue to keep afloat.
