Please take a look at the attachment above. It is an email I received from VERVE (a product of InterSwitch). The email describes the new strategy of the Lagos State Government to convert RESIDENTS to MEMBERS of their economy.

What is the process of a Membership System?

1. Invite individuals to REGISTER in a CLOSED SYSTEM. E.g a Mailing List, a WhatsApp Group, a Telegram Group, or SMS List.
2. Engage them often. Via emails, chats and correspondences. Make sure the engagements are OFFERINGS, GIFTS, INFORMATION, EDUCATION, ENTERTAINMENT, etc. The goal is to KEEP THEM ENGAGED.
3. Exchange VALUE. Let them feel REWARDED or EMPOWERED or IMPROVED.
4. Upsell. Leverage their trust to sell what you want and have. The ultimate goal of a membership system is that you are PROFITING from it. Imagine having 50,000 Members from whom you make N100 (or $1) NET INCOME MONTHLY. That is not a bad net income at all. Is it?
