EVERY IDEA DESERVES A COMMUNITY

This morning I had a strategy session with an organization that is present in 4 countries. We spent more than 1 hour distilling their MEMBERSHIP MODEL ADAPTATIONS.

This morning I had a strategy session with an organization that is present in 4 countries. We spent more than 1 hour distilling their MEMBERSHIP MODEL ADAPTATIONS.

From the conversations, I figured they have provided interventions for OVER 20,000 PEOPLE in the last 4 years and over the last 10 years, they have directed hosted OVER 200 CONFERENCES. So, what did we decide to do today?

  1. Clean up the DATA of BENEFICIARIES. They have this data but they are fragmented and uncoordinated. So, now they will harmonize these data, qualify them into sub-elements and establish the true picture of their active beneficiaries; some of whom have relocated to Europe and the Americas. This data will be championed by 10 COMMUNITY MANAGERS; with each country having 1 Community Manager and there will be 6 Global CMs who will provide global support services to each continent.
  2. Define Member-driven INTERESTS and PREFERENCES. The Founders will NOT define who benefits what and who enjoys what. This list will be defined and driven by the established beneficiaries. What this does for the system is that the system takes a life of its own and such a system, taken over by Members, automatically live me longer than if controlled by the Owners.

Items 1 and 2 are BASIC COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT tactics; which I have demonstrated in OSP, BSG and MST. These 3 communities have enjoyed my free-hand where Members can literally define how far, how deeply and how beneficial their experiences can be, just by being actively involved. Practically, I don’t control ANY of my communities anymore. That’s how successfully I have implemented these items.
