Last night, I had a very thought provoking conversation with a younger sister and it has not left my mind; so I thought to share some key thoughts…

1. Enough of the junketing. Stay in one place and build. Build a name. Build an identity. Build an idea. Build something that has your name on it
2. In all your passions, have credentials that amplify your credibility. Invest in credentials or associations or certifications that demonstrate you are not a fluke or just a passerby. Accessorize your passion and experience with verifiable credentials that will last the test of time. Ensure that you mix credentials effectively. Start from local to global and later as you ascend the ladder, have more global credentials than local ones. MAJORITY OF NIGERIAN CREDENTIALS ARE NOT TENABLE IN MANY FOREIGN SPACES
3. Build an Army of Protégés. The real legacy is who “becomes” because of you. Make sure that as you’re becoming a voice and authority at something, you’re INTENTIONALLY enlisting many to learn, follow and adopt your original (authentic) ideology
4. Invest and Save. No matter how little and slow, do this. This is an area I have been very random at and I started late; despite that, the little I’ve done have saved me a great deal. Slowly, organically invest and save .. and plan to do it for a long haul
5. Choose you. There is no rush in life but also, there is no time to waste. So, choose you. WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT FROM LIFE? If you know it, do it. If you don’t know it, find someone to help you discover it. DO YOU ‼️
