when you are writing a marketing post, the most effective way is to IMAGINE A TYPICAL RECIPIENT and write with that person in mind. You can do a mental list of 5-10 recipients and write as though you are talking to them face to face. This makes your messaging personal and effective.

2.) Assuming Everyone Gets The Message:

Despite how frequently I share my posts, I still hear (even as recent as yesterday) that ‘I did not see the post’. I’m like Wawu!!! But that’s true. Not everyone gets the message you share and not everyone understands it the first time. So to fix this, use different models like text, audio (voice notes), videos, images (fliers), etc. The wider the spectrum, the higher the reach. My voice notes are usually highly responded to. Many people who miss my posts respond to voice notes… because my voice is sexy 😉!!! … you get the message sha. And if you don’t, forgerrit 😁

3.) Being Addicted To One Channel:

it is easy to prefer some channels because social media is usually about convenience. But that is only valid for your personal social media habits. If you are serious about Business, you cannot have (or insist) on a particular platform alone. You must try to spread your tentacles (like The Octopus 🐙 😜) as far as possible. I personally share my posts across AT LEAST 18 CHANNELS DAILY. Do an audit of channels and adopt as many as possible. This takes your marketing very far and you will get results

4.) Selling, Not Relating:

I used to be very serious. I still am, in many ways; but I have improved significantly over the years. I recently coached someone who’s belief system is ‘just go straight to the point.’ Most marketing pitches don’t convert because the marketer ‘goes straight to the point.’ No gist, no fun, no play, no emojis, no chill. Just gbas gbos. Hmmmn. I suspect that such a person does not do foreplay sef. Just tear the brassiere or pant and ‘enter the place’. Ki lo de!!! Be calming down. Tell us some gists, play around with fun then deliver your pitch. The added advantage is that people will get glued to your content and that creates conversions over time.

5.) Not Staying On:

Even if you have PREMATURE EJACULATION, you can repeat sex many times until you have exhausted all your ‘konji-ness’. 😁. Marketing demands REPETITION. Unless you do it again and again and again… it may not deliver the goals. To get maximum returns from marketing, please show up every day for a very long period. Marketing responds to consistency and longevity. Not microwave efforts.
