Anytime I come to Lagos, my go-to hotel is SURU EXPRESS HOTEL on Joel Ogunnaike in Ikeja GRA. 4 years ago, we bought an office phone for our bulk SMS. Did I tell you that since we observed that internet SMS loses over 30-50% of messages (that is between 30-50% of recipients never got our SMS blasts sent via internet SMS), we switched over to sending SMS via regular phone line to our over 1,000 customer lines, whenever we needed to?
Whether we like it or not, we must give it to Shekau, the now ‘probably finally’ dead leader of Boko Haram. If we were counting, perhaps Shekau has died like 10 times already, between 2015 and now, since Oga Buhari took over. There have been several claims ‘BH is technical dead!’, ‘BH is decimated!’, ‘Shekau has been killed!’, etc.
I find this gist very enticing and exciting. I am sorry o; despite that I find Facebook’s model (Advertising Model) very ingenious, I am not particularly a fan of Mark Zuckerberg. If you’ve followed my posting about him of late, you’d know that I am averse to his ‘shark’ style. His is even more vicious than familiar sharks we know. So this news has a way of making me feel good.
