My housekeeper approached me this morning and asked ‘Sir, I saw a book on your table on ‘Family Finance’; is it okay if I read it Sir?’
😳😳😳😱😱😱
I was sincerely, evidently shocked!!!

I was in Lagos some months ago and I spared some time to visit some topnotch schools there. These are schools I have observed from a distance with admiration. I won’t mention the names of the schools but I will explain what transpired in some.
I am a major beneficiary of western content. I come from a medium-silver-spoon background, schooled in very good schools, exposed to a very balanced cosmopolitan life and allowed my choices and preferences. My parents, Dad especially, are very liberal. They let you do what works for you. Hence my ability to make some dangerous decisions that could have cost me a lot (some have). If my parents were core traditionalists or the typical African kind, I definitely would not turn out how I am.
I cannot say this enough. No matter how much you pay for coaching, your coach is not responsible for the actions you must take to get your outcomes. Many people say ‘my coach is not helping me.’, ‘my coach just left me alone to do this’, ‘my coach this, my coach that’. Well, good or bad news: YOUR COACH HAS NO BUSINESS DOING YOUR TASKS FOR YOU.

I published an ebook on 27th Jan, 2017 which barely 50 people have read. I have decided to let more people read it today. You may find this absolutely liberating. A few who have read it have told me they were FREED by the stories. I’d love to know your experience too.
