Ideas, platforms, services and products are being created day-in, day-out. And most people are afraid of launching them or even sharing them because they don’t know how they will be bankrolled or funded. So, if you ask this question, your mind will try to find the possible (at least 3) sources for funding your ideas

WHAT I ORDERED vs WHAT I GOT.

In 2015 a ‘big girl’ in a StanbicIBTC Bank Lagos wanted to hire me as her coach. She had made concerted efforts to get my attention but because I am based in Abuja, we really did not get a convenient arrangement. At some point, I visited Lagos. As at that time, I had not met Stella (our now COO) and Tunde (our last Director of Programmes).

DON’T BE A WEAK FOUNDER OF A STRONG BRAND.

Many people I have coached do not want to be the face of the business they are building. Some, for valid reasons; others, for reasons like shyness and fear.

The discussion about whether to build a personal brand or a corporate brand is usually active. To some, they will build a powerful company brand and be ‘faceless’. For some, they would rather build their personal name because to build a company is a lot of work. To some, both should grow in parallel.
