DON’T BE A WEAK FOUNDER OF A STRONG BRAND.

Many people I have coached do not want to be the face of the business they are building. Some, for valid reasons; others, for reasons like shyness and fear. The discussion about whether to build a personal brand or a corporate brand is usually active. To some, they will build a powerful company brand and be ‘faceless’. For some, they would rather build their personal name because to build a company is a lot of work. To some, both should grow in parallel.

SCIENCE COMMUNICATOR.

In 2014, Dr Bala Muhammad, the CEO of BlueBlood Vet (in FCT Abuja Nigeria) had explained a challenge with vet doctors. He said many vet doctors may find it difficult to make money; not because they don’t know their skills but because they lack the tools of communicating animal problems to pet owners in the language pet owners understand. He said most vet doctors understand the challenges of pets but if the owner does not understand what the pet wants, how can the vet doctor get paid? Hmmmmn.

HOW YOU MAY LOSE WITH TECHNOLOGY.

Technology is definitely here to stay. It is not likely that it will ever slow down. Artificial Intelligence, Cryptography, Human powered chip implants, etc. TECHNOLOGY IS THE FUTURE. More organizations will adopt technology in virtually every arm of their businesses. There are potentials that robots will serve customers, IVR will be enhanced (IVR: interactive voice response), social media engines will be enhanced, production chains will be further automated, equipment will be serviced via artificial intelligence systems (instead of maintenance engineers and facility managers), storage will be JIT (just-in-time), and logistics will be automated with artificial intelligence (Amazon is already 100% compliant with this). SO WITHIN TEN YEARS, MORE HUMAN INTERACTIONS WILL BE REDUCED.

NETFLIX PASSWORD SHARING IS ENDING.

Netflix just signed a deal with Kunle Afolayan, the movie creator who owns OCTOBER 1ST, and ROTI (Box office masterpieces). The deal stipulates that he will create 3 local content movies for Netflix in Nigeria. This is part of their move to create more local content to boost NETFLIX NAIJA, the localization of the Netflix brand.
