YOUR LOGO IS ON POINT BUT YOUR BEHAVIOUR IS DISTASTEFUL.

You have invested a great deal of resources to get a very good brand narration: great logo, aesthetic colours, powerful brand name, and world class effizy. Even your website is like the White House, resplendent with finesse and class… it looks like WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST… you have arrived.. but then someone reaches out to your business and there is trouble.

WOULD YOU SUE CRISTIANO RONALDO IF…?

Some years ago, I was a facilitator on Coca-Cola’s Youth Empowered programme. It was a programme of the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) that ran in several cities for many years. On one of the days, a participant came into the hall with a product of Pepsi. You only need to see how the entire NBC reacted to that. It was like a TABOO had entered the room. I was stunned. That was my first lesson in Branding and Brand Loyalty. WoW!!!

YOU WILL NOT GET A CHANCE TO SEE ME OR SPEAK WITH ME IN 90 DAYS IF…

It has been 15 years of learning about MARKETS and MARKETING. In the last 5 years alone, I have re-engineered my brand to become one of the most sought after brands in the Heart of the North of Nigeria. I have also serially sold out several Programmes and courses; someone has called me ‘Sexy Seller’. This is the inspiration behind my new range of services that you may find absolutely relevant.

BEFORE YOU HOST YOUR NEXT EVENT…

From 2015, I have hosted 4 grand events so far. My first ever large event was BCP Conference that held at Unilag (University of Lagos) in November 2015. BCP stands for Behavioural Change Practitioners. The intention was to hold forte for professionals who practice any form of behavioural change work; from social workers to counsellors to therapists to psychologists, etc. The event was free. We spent around 3Million Naira to host the event and had a deficit of more than a million Naira afterwards. After that event, several speakers who attended BCP Conference created their own platforms and that broke the momentum I had for the conference. I threw in the towel immediately.

CUSTOMER REVIEW: LANDMARK HOTEL, LAGOS.

Anytime I come to Lagos, my go-to hotel is SURU EXPRESS HOTEL on Joel Ogunnaike in Ikeja GRA. I have not been in Lagos since 2019 just before COVID-19 changed our lives; so you can imagine my joy when I had to leave Abuja to go and rest for 1 week in Lagos right after BSG Summit 2021. It felt like a child going on a Christmas trip to their grandparents. 😁😁

I HAD A FORMER SISTER

On September 10th, 1992 (we lived in Bauchi town at that time), our former kid sister died from complications of measles. It was devastating, to say the least. Her name was IFEOLUWAPO ABIGAIL OBAFEMI. From the moment she died, our family foundation was shaken for a long time. Dad was really heartbroken. His ‘mini woman’ was gone. Mum was inconsolable. Her ‘reward’ was gone. I do not know how my brothers mourned her. They were only 11 years old. I was just almost 13 years old at the time, a month to 13. I recall being blank. I did not associate the death to any feelings for a very long time until sometime February 1993 when I was a boarding student at United Faith Tabernacle College, Jos. Plateau State
