My hair grows weekly so I visit the barber shop weekly. Because of my characteristic laziness though, it sometimes takes a fortnight and by then, my head already itches and makes me feel uncomfortable. So I must do the visit latest 10 days apart.
Some years ago, when we hosted one of SOBCA’s free tasters on Mental Health and Emotional Intelligence at Be Better Centre, Gudu (Abuja), right after the session, I had the privilege of chatting with the Founder of Be Better Centre, Mr. Omagbitse Barrow, and another friend (and former client), (I will omit her name for a purpose).
Last week, an architect came to me with a need. She said she is not permitted to market her profession (based on ethics of architecture) but she wishes she can merge her work with human capital development. So she needed a strategy because she was experiencing sickness and depression from just being on her job.
I walked into a barbershop somewhere in Wuse 2 to have a haircut. And it’s also a Spa. While he was doing his thing, he noticed dandruff on a side of my head and asked if I wanted to wash. I said it was fine. After a few minutes, he asked if the fat on my nose should be scrubbed and cleaned. I didn’t answer.
I went visiting a school recently as part of my cross-industry scanning and as I approached, I saw the following elements:
1. On the school epitaph was written the words: This school is opened on this day DD-MM-YYYY in the name of the God of Bishop David Oyedepo.
2. There was a large banner at the entrance of the school with the words: JESUS IS LOVE.

Around my estate, there is a UBA ATM Machine. It has been there since I moved into this estate 2 years ago.
